During the year 2017, 4081 nos. of pilgrims have proceeded to Mecca to perform Haj under State Haj Committee w.e.f. 24.07.2017. Amongst them for the first time 21 nos. of Khadim-Ul-Hujjajs and 1 no. of in-charge of Khadim-Ul-Hujjajs have been designated by the State Haj Committee to aid and look after the welfare of the Haj Pilgrims in an organized manner during the stay at Saudi Arabia (Mecca and Madina). Also for the first time 2 days training camps have been conducted in the districts by the District Haj Committees under the supervision of the State Haj Committee for training the Hajjis on the activities to be performed during the Haj.
